Whether you’re picking up a bowl for the first time or you’ve been playing for years, there’s a place for you at Mt Eden Bowls. We’re a friendly, social club where you can enjoy bowls your way, from a relaxed afternoon on the green to competitive club and interclub play.

Twilight Social Series – Fast, Fun, and Friendly
Every Thursday through November and March
Get your team together for four Thursday nights of bowls, food, fun and a little friendly competition!
Come down early and enjoy a light pre-game supper from 5:00pm, with bowls getting underway at 6:00pm.
Teams of 3 players will play two short games each night, with prizes up for grabs and Chase the Ace adding a little extra excitement.
Never bowled before? No problem. Bowls are supplied and we’ll show you everything you need to know. Don’t have a full team? Single players are welcome too, and we’ll help match you up.
Great bowls. Good food. Plenty of laughs. Grab your friends, workmates or family and make Thursday your new favourite night of the week.
Weekly Bowls Roll Up
New to Bowls?
There’s no commitment and no equipment required, just pay a simple $10 per person green fee.
Come along and give bowls a go! Join us on Wednesdays or Saturdays from 12:30pm–3:00pm. Arrive at 12:30pm to check in and we’ll get you set up with everything you need, including bowls, a mat and jack. One of our members will give you a friendly introduction to the basics, then you’ll have plenty of time to practice what you’ve learned and enjoy a few ends on the green. At 3:00pm, come into the clubhouse and join our members for a well-earned refreshment. And if you decide to join Mt Eden Bowls as a member, your session is free.
Bowled before?
Then simply show up at 12:30pm on Wednesday or Saturday, check in and we’ll get you onto a side. The format for the day will depend on how many players turn up, so expect a relaxed mix of bowls and a chance to play with different people. The green fee is $10 per person including use of club bowls, or just $5 if you bring your own bowls. Play runs through until around 3:00pm, when everyone is welcome to head into the clubhouse for a refreshment.
And if you decide to join Mt Eden Bowls as a member, your session is free.
